Job Title General Manager – Label Printing & Packaging Factory Location Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Job Summary The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall leadership, operational excellence, financial performance, and strategic growth of the printing and packaging factory. This role ensures efficient production, high-quality output, compliance with Saudi regulations, cost control, and customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement and expansion. Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership & Business Management Develop and implement short- and long-term business strategies aligned with company objectives and Saudi market trends. Lead factory operations to achieve production, quality, safety, and profitability targets. Identify new business opportunities, products, and markets within KSA and GCC. Represent the company with key clients, suppliers, government entities, and stakeholders.2. Operations & Production Management Oversee all printing and packaging operations (offset, flexo, gravure, digital, corrugated, folding cartons, labels, etc., as applicable). Ensure optimal production planning, scheduling, and capacity utilization. Maintain high standards of quality, waste reduction, and on-time delivery. Implement lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and best industry practices.3. Financial Management Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cost controls. Monitor profitability, cash flow, and operational KPIs. Control raw material, inventory, and production costs. Review pricing strategies, margins, and contract profitability.4. Quality, HSE & Compliance Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, including SASO, SFDA, MCI, Civil Defense, and Ministry of Labor requirements. Ensure adherence to quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GMP, BRC, or FSC (as applicable). Promote a strong Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) culture across the factory.5. Sales, Customer & Market Development Support sales teams with technical and commercial expertise. Ensure customer requirements are met in terms of quality, lead time, and cost. Handle key accounts and major contract negotiations when required. Drive customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.6. Human Resources & Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and factory staff. Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and teamwork. Ensure Saudization (Nitaqat) compliance and effective workforce planning. Approve recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and succession planning.7. Maintenance & Asset Management Ensure proper maintenance of all printing and packaging machinery and utilities. Plan capital expenditure for new equipment, upgrades, and technology. Improve machine efficiency, uptime, and productivity. MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage. Experience10–15+ years of experience in printing and/or packaging manufacturing.5+ years in a senior leadership role (Factory Manager / Operations Manager / General Manager). Strong knowledge of printing and packaging technologies, materials, and supply chains. Proven experience working in KSA or GCC markets.
