Job Summary The FF&E Specialist is responsible for the selection, specification, procurement coordination, and documentation of Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) to ensure design intent, quality standards, budget compliance, and project timelines are achieved. Key Responsibilities Develop FF&E concepts in line with the interior design vision and project requirements. Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, specifications, mood boards, and material samples. Coordinate with interior designers, architects, and project teams to ensure design consistency. Source suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors locally and internationally. Obtain and review quotations, samples, and technical data sheets. Ensure FF&E selections comply with project budgets, quality standards, and client expectations. Coordinate with procurement, contracts, and site teams during ordering, delivery, and installation phases. Review shop drawings and mock-ups related to FF&E items. Conduct site inspections to verify correct installation and quality of FF&E items. Manage revisions and updates to FF&E schedules throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sustainability standards where applicable. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.3–7 years of experience in FF&E selection and coordination (depending on seniority). Strong knowledge of furniture systems, lighting fixtures, finishes, and accessories. Excellent understanding of materials, fabrics, and suppliers. Proficiency in Auto CAD, MS Excel, and presentation tools (Power Point / InDesign preferred). Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Preferred Experience Experience in hospitality, residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects. Familiarity with international brands and suppliers. Knowledge of procurement processes and contracts is a plus.
