Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Cairo for a Light Current Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting light current systems, which may include CCTV, access control, fire alarm, sound, and other integrated systems. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site surveys, preparing technical documentation and drawings, coordinating with clients, ensuring adherence to project specifications, and performing system performance tests.
Qualifications
Experience and knowledge in light current systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, AV systems, and security systems Skills in system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and creating technical documentation Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and technical understanding of wiring and integration Excellent communication skills for working with clients and team members Proficient use of relevant software (e.g., Auto CAD) and tools for designing and testing systems Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Telecommunications, or Systems Engineering, or a related field Prior project management experience and certifications in light current systems (e.g., certifications in fire/safety or AV systems) are a plus
