Role Description Responsible for supervising and coordinating the technical office team at the site, ensuring accurate execution of drawings, compliance with project specifications, and proper coordination between design, planning, and site activities. Key Responsibilities Review and validate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical documents before submission. Supervise and guide technical office engineers on-site to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Coordinate between the site, consultants, subcontractors, and the head office technical team. Prepare and review material submittals, RFIs, and method statements. Ensure timely preparation of quantity surveying, take-offs, and cost estimates for ongoing works. Monitor the implementation of design changes and variation orders. Provide technical support to the site team during construction activities. Check compliance with codes, standards, and client specifications. Follow up on project schedules in coordination with the planning team to ensure timely delivery. Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and filing of technical office records at the site. Assist in resolving any technical issues or conflicts that arise during construction. Train and mentor junior engineers in technical procedures and best practices.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture or related field.7–10 years of experience in technical office/site engineering, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of construction methods, shop drawings, and project documentation. Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, Primavera (or MS Project), and MS Office. Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills. Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and contractual procedures.
