Primary Role of an Odoo Developer The primary mission of an Odoo Developer is to design and develop Odoo modules in alignment with business needs and client requirements, while contributing to the enhancement of system efficiency and stability. The role also includes supporting digital-transformation initiatives by delivering effective and integrated technical solutions, ensuring both functional and technical compatibility of systems, and actively participating in building a flexible and sustainable technology environment within the company. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules based on business and client technical and functional requirements. Collaborate with the consulting and sales teams to analyze requirements and translate them into executable technical solutions. Manage and optimize Postgre SQL databases to ensure performance and stability. Set up, deploy, and support Odoo environments on Linux/Ubuntu systems, while effectively utilizing basic system commands. Use version-control systems (Git/SVN) to manage code and ensure smooth collaboration across the team. Contribute to Dev Ops processes, including preparing development and testing environments, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring performance. Implement Odoo system integrations through APIs with external systems and applications. Participate in front-end design and development when needed using HTML, CSS, and Java Script. Perform regular testing and debugging, identify and resolve issues, and optimize application performance. Prepare and update technical documentation related to developed features and implemented processes. Support technical teams by providing recommendations and improving the quality of delivered solutions. Adhere to best practices in coding, documentation, and teamwork methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development. Proficiency in software development using Python and related frameworks. Proven experience with Postgre SQL database management and usage. Good knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu operating systems. Strong proficiency in version-control systems (Git/SVN). Experience using project-management systems such as Odoo Project App or similar tools (Jira, Trello). Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script). Preferred: Experience with system integration using RESTful APIs.
