Student Life Manager

The Student Life Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing, and executing programs and services that enhance the overall student experience at the University. This role encompasses leadership in student engagement, orientation, counseling, extracurricular activities, sports, alumni affairs, disciplinary processes, budgeting, accreditations, and special events. The Student Life Manager also collaborates with multiple university departments to ensure holistic student development, well-being, and community involvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster student engagement by overseeing student clubs, managing the Student Union, and supporting extracurricular initiatives.
  • Supervise student counseling services and coordinate work-study programs.
  • Administer the disciplinary process and ensure consistent enforcement of the Student Code of Conduct.
  • Design and conduct periodic Student Satisfaction Surveys to inform service improvements.
  • Plan and manage major student life events, including Freshman Orientation, Cap and Gown Day, and the Annual Graduation Ceremony.
  • Oversee the Sports Complex, support the formation of sports teams, and coordinate participation in inter-university leagues.
  • Organize domestic and international student trips to enhance learning and cultural exposure.
  • Manage alumni data collection and lead alumni engagement and involvement initiatives.
  • Serve as an active member of the Financial Aid and Scholarship Committees, as needed.
  • Collaborate with and support Career Center activities to enhance student career readiness.
  • Prepare and submit reports for national and international accreditation processes related to student life.
  • Represent the university at open house events and deliver presentations to prospective students and families.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to modernize Student Life Office operations and services.

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education, Marketing, Communications, Student Affairs, or a related field is preferred.In-depth understanding of the undergraduate admissions cycle and student decision-making processes.Demonstrated experience in planning and executing events, managing student-focused programs, and evaluating their effectiveness.Proven track record in organizing and delivering large-scale events and strategic recruitment campaigns.Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills.Willingness and ability to travel regionally and/or internationally; flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required. Deadline for Applications: 31 October 2025
