- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on PVC extrusion lines, including but not limited to extruders, dies, cooling systems, and auxiliary equipment.
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for PVC extrusion machinery to prevent unexpected breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan.
- Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, and replacement of worn-out components as per manufacturer's guidelines and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with purchasing department for sourcing spare parts and components required for repairs and upgrades.
- Execute repairs, replacements, and upgrades on PVC extrusion equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.
- Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and downtime analysis, providing insights for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance activities, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
- Provide training and technical support to maintenance staff and operators on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to address technical issues and drive process improvements.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in PVC extrusion or similar manufacturing environments.Strong knowledge of PVC extrusion processes, equipment, and materials.Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
