Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control Management:
Conduct regular inspections and audits of food and beverage products, ensuring they meet quality standards in terms of taste, presentation, and safety.
Monitor food preparation and service to ensure consistency in product quality across all F&B operations (restaurants, cafes, and franchises).
Review and assess suppliers and incoming raw materials to ensure they meet Tayf's quality specifications and standards.
Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to address any quality issues and take corrective actions as needed.
Hygiene & Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all local and international food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and health codes across all F&B locations.
Monitor kitchen cleanliness and equipment hygiene, ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed at all times.
Conduct regular training for staff on food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols, keeping the team updated on best practices.
Assist in preparing for health and safety inspections and audits, ensuring all documentation and practices are in place and compliant.
Product Quality Monitoring:
Develop and implement quality control checklists, procedures, and guidelines for all food production and service stages.
Work closely with the kitchen staff and management teams to perform sensory evaluations, ensuring the consistency and quality of products.
Coordinate with the operations and supply chain teams to ensure the right ingredients are used and are consistently available for production.
Provide actionable feedback to teams to improve product consistency, quality, and presentation.
Problem Resolution:
Investigate and resolve any complaints or issues regarding food quality, taste, and customer satisfaction.
Address discrepancies in food and beverage quality by working with the management team to implement corrective measures.
Track quality-related issues and ensure that corrective actions are taken promptly and documented.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain thorough records of quality inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting areas of improvement, performance metrics, and compliance with quality standards.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality assurance, such as customer satisfaction, product returns, and audit outcomes.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve product quality and operational processes, focusing on efficiency, safety, and customer experience.
Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, operations, and R&D, to implement new quality improvement initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to food quality and safety to ensure Tayf remains a leader in the F&B industry.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Hospitality Management, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
Experience:
-3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the F&B industry (restaurants, cafes, or food production).
Hands-on experience with food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and quality control measures.
Previous experience in a supervisory role is a plus.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, local health codes).
Detail-oriented with the ability to assess quality issues and implement effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality and safety.
Familiarity with quality assurance software or tools used in food and beverage operations is an advantage.
