Key responsibilities :
Analyse customer power requirements, site conditions, and application needs to recommend appropriate genset solutions
Configure genset systems, including selecting the right engine, alternator, enclosure, and accessories to meet customer specifications
Provide technical guidance and support to customers on genset installation, commissioning, and maintenance
Develop application-specific documentation, drawings, and proposals to support the sales process
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, engineering, service) to ensure seamless project delivery
Stay up to date on genset product capabilities, industry trends, and competitive landscape
Troubleshoot complex genset performance issues and provide field support as needed
Contribute to the continuous improvement of genset product designs and application processes
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Power Systems Engineering
3+ years of experience in a technical role supporting genset or power generation equipment
Strong understanding of genset components, systems, and applications
Proficient in electrical and mechanical design principles, HVAC, and power distribution
Excellent communication and presentation skills to liaise with customers
Willingness to travel to customer sites
