  • Team Building: Recruit, train, and develop a talented finance team capable of handling complex financial tasks.
  • Costing and Pricing: Develop and implement accurate costing models to ensure profitability and competitive pricing for our cake customization services.
  • Profit and Loss (P&L) Analysis: Prepare detailed P&L statements, analyze financial performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Create comprehensive budgets and forecasts, monitor financial performance against these plans, and provide timely insights to management.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate financial risks to protect the company's assets and ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Financial System and Protocol Creation: Design, implement, and maintain a robust financial system and protocol that aligns with the company's goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Model Creation: Develop comprehensive financial models to support fundraising efforts, business planning, and strategic decision-making.
  • Tax Compliance and Reporting: Act as a liaison with a legal/tax accountant firm. Handle tax-related matters with authorities and communicate to senior management. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
     

Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced or start-up environment.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Experience in managing Accounts payable and Accounts receivable processes.Experience in finance control and revenue and investment managementStrong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ZohoBooks, ERP systems).Successfully managed a roll out of an ERP system. Ability to lead the project and assign stakeholders and follows thru to completionProven ability to create accurate and insightful financial models.Proven ability to create comprehensive forecasting plans and budgets.Proven ability to create, implement, and manage financial systems and protocols.A passion for the food industry and a desire to contribute to the growth of a dynamic company.
