Community-Based Learning (CBL) Program:
• Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for the CBL program.
• Coordinate student and staff participation in community projects in Sharkiah and Baharia Oasis.
• Facilitate experiential learning activities both within and outside the university in cooperation with the community engagement specialist at the center.
• Collaborate with community partners to identify and address community challenges.
• Evaluate the impact of CBL on student and staff development.
Leadership Program for HU Graduates:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive leadership development curriculum.
• Facilitate leadership training workshops and activities.
• Coordinate participant placements in HU projects or SEKEM Companies.
• Evaluate program outcomes and make recommendations for improvement.
General Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with program staff and volunteers to ensure smooth program operations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for both programs.
• Prepare regular reports on program progress and outcomes.
• Represent the ESD Center at relevant events and conferences.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in education and leadership development
Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in education, sustainable development, or a related field.• Minimum 4 years of experience in program coordination or a related field.• Strong organizational and time management skills.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Proficiency in [relevant software, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools].• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Passion for sustainable development and education.Preferred Qualifications:• Master’s degree in education, sustainable development, or a related field.• Experience in community engagement and development.• Knowledge of leadership development theories and practices.• Experience in curriculum design and development.
