• Program Design and Development:
o Collaborate with program stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and external
partners, to develop and refine the LSP curriculum.
o Ensure that the program aligns with the university's mission, vision, and strategic
objectives.
o Design and implement a comprehensive evaluation framework to assess program effectiveness.
• Program Implementation:
o Oversee the day-to-day operations of the LSP students
o Coordinate program activities, workshops, and field trips.
o Manage program resources, including budget, facilities, and equipment.
• Participant Engagement and Support:
o Provide mentorship and guidance to LSP students.
o Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Partnerships and Collaborations:
o Develop and maintain partnerships with external organizations to enhance program offerings and resources.
• Reporting and Evaluation:
o Prepare regular progress reports and program evaluations.
o Analyze program data to identify areas for improvement and inform future program development.
• Administrative Tasks:
o Manage program documentation and records.
o Coordinate with university administration on administrative matters.
o Develop monthly, biannual, and annual reports
Qualifications and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in education, sustainable development, or a related field.• Minimum 4 years of experience in program management, preferably in the context ofyouth development or sustainability initiatives.• Strong understanding of sustainable development principles and practices.• Proven ability to work effectively with young people and foster a positive learning environment.• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Proficiency in using relevant software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, projectmanagement tools).Secondary Responsibilities:• Facilitate training under other programs at the ESD CenterDesired Skills:• Experience in curriculum development and instructional design.• Knowledge of evaluation methodologies and data analysis techniques.• Experience in fundraising or grant writing.• Familiarity with the Egyptian educational landscape and relevant government policies.Additional Information:• The position will require occasional travel within Egypt with the possibility of staying 1night per week at SEKEM community• The Program Management Specialist will report to the Director of the Education forSustainable Development Center.
