Senior Electrical Engineer

  • Review and develop (when needed) electrical system designs for various types of buildings (residential, commercial) and infrastructure projects (utilities).
  • Review and edit detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications for power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, fire alarms, and low-voltage systems.
  • Conduct load analysis, short-circuit calculations, and equipment selection to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Oversee the electrical design package from concept to Issue for Construction (IFC), ensuring all work complies with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans and resolve technical issues.
  • Perform site visits to evaluate the quality of work and provide alternative solutions for construction problems.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain technical documents, including single-line diagrams, load schedules, and equipment specifications.
  • Ensure all electrical works adhere to relevant codes (e.g., NEC, IEC), local regulations, and project-specific requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with the direct manager to manage expectations, address concerns, and provide regular updates on project status.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • 4 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically related to building and infrastructure projects at consultant and contractor firms.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, industry standards, and regulations for buildings and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP).
  • Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
