Overview
- Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that the highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Implementation of H&S Operating model, governance forums across all departments in the site.
- Responsible for providing the site performance dashboard on a periodic basis.
- Enhance the performance and development of H&S engagement pillar / BOG within the site.
- Follow up of site HSEIP, Routine Calendar, Critical Risk Elimination (CRE) and LTIFR.
- Development, deployment and maintaining of Welfare and Housekeeping Standard in the site.
- Follow up, maintain and communicate the H&S iCare, BOG & digital system (Database arrangements, Timeline Plans Adherence, action closure,) and provide guidance to the site.
- Follow up and maintain all incident investigation reporting and closure.
- Carry out, cascading and maintaining H&S communications and stand downs.
- Definition, follow up and maintain Reward & Recognition program and Consequence management program within the site.
- Pilot and introduction of digital HSE tools and modules within the site.
- Assessing and analyzing research data, summarizing statistics, and compiling reports.
- Participates and conducts HSE audits across BUs.
- Carry out H&S management plans for projects onsite whenever requested. (Not limited to projects but open to any assignment)
- Participates in conducting H&S related training.
- Manage H&S Team during shutdown and ensure proper supervision.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor of engineering or Science – Mechanical design and production
- Masters of Business Administration – Project management / Nebosh Certification is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Internal and external audit – computer skills – management and leadership – presentation skills – team player
Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in HSE Field, Cement Operations Knowledge is a plus.
