**Position Overview:**

The Export Director for Fresh Fruits will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand the company's market presence internationally. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the export process, from sourcing and logistics to compliance and customer relations.


**Key Responsibilities:**


Market Analysis:

Conduct thorough market research to identify potential export markets and assess market trends, competition, and customer preferences.

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement export strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share in the fresh fruits and vegetables sector.


Sourcing & Procurement:

Collaborate with farmers and suppliers to ensure high-quality produce is available for export, maintaining relationships to ensure sustainability and ethical sourcing.


Logistics Management:

Oversee the logistics of export operations, ensuring timely and efficient transportation while adhering to all regulatory requirements.


Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, quality standards, and phytosanitary requirements for fresh produce.


Sales & Marketing:

Develop marketing strategies to promote products in target markets, including participation in trade shows and exhibitions.


Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers, addressing their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.


Financial Management:

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and reports related to export activities, ensuring financial targets are met.


Main Criteria for this Role:


Educational Background:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Agriculture, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.


**Experience:**

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in export management, must have experience in the fresh produce sector preferred citrus fruits


**Skills:**

- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and export documentation.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

- Proficiency in market analysis and strategic planning.

- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management.

**Languages:**

- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
