Job Description
- Assist in managing daily cash flow, ensuring funds are available for project payments and operations.
- Monitor bank account balances and perform bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and process payments (e.g., transfers, and checks) for suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Handle letters of guarantee and letters of credit for ongoing projects.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately in the system and reports are up-to-date.
- Support in preparing cash flow forecasts and financial analysis.
- Liaise with banks for banking transactions and resolve issues as needed.
- Assist in managing financial instruments and optimizing the company’s liquidity position.
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies and controls.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Maintain proper documentation of treasury-related activities and ensure archiving is up to date.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, project management) to coordinate cash needs for project-related expenses.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- 1-3 years of experience in treasury or accounting roles, preferably in the construction industry.- Strong understanding of cash management, bank reconciliations, and financial instruments.- Proficiency in accounting and financial software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
