Responsibilities

  • The Factory Manager's primary responsibilities are managing and coordinating plant operations, including production and maintenance, while ensuring compliance with all corporate policies and regulations. He should enforce the concept of an operational team in his factory and should be able to train and develop individuals and amplify potential expertise among his team.
  • Led and managed all plant operations to realize competent profitability for the factory while developing a continuous improvement culture to achieve required production volumes defined by the supply chain planning team in compliance with quality standards and accordance with the Key Performance Indicators.
  • Led and managed the maintenance team to ensure the proper planning of maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance. He should have a solid background and hands-on experience to be capable of defining the requirements and setting efficient plans to improve machines' performance. He is responsible for establishing the culture of total productive maintenance (TPM) and commissioning the knowledge and practical experience of PM & AM principles.


Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • A minimum of five years experience in a factory manager role is preferred.
  • Minimum 5-10 years in the snack (extruded and fried snacks) industry. Good knowledge of the deep frying process and vertical form fill seal operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain staffing levels at an appropriate level to minimize costs.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
