Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Manager to join our company. The Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining our machinery, optimizing our various processes and overseeing the technical teams to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, providing guidance and direction to ensure effective total productive maintenance practices.
- Develop and implement TPM strategies, programs, and procedures to enhance equipment reliability, improve productivity, and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to align maintenance activities with operational goals.
- Commission new machinery/ assembly equipment and train personnel to maintain this equipment during launches of new processes/ products
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and audits to identify potential mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, or software issues and ensure proactive maintenance.
- Collaborate with our OPEX, Quality and Engineering teams to enhance the processes and poka-yoke aspects of our processes.
- Analyze data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted action plans.
- Establish and monitor maintenance schedules, ensuring preventative and predictive maintenance activities are carried out timely and effectively.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our maintenance processes and systems.
- Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and justifying expenditures for maintenance projects.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and root cause analysis within the team.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for complex mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and software-related issues.
- Ensure machines/ processes meet the required H&S standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role within an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and software systems used in manufacturing.
- Previous experience leading a maintenance team and demonstrating effective leadership and management skills.
- In-depth understanding of TPM principles, practices, and methodologies, with a track record of successful implementation.
- Ability to interpret data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant maintenance management software.
- Proficiency in English is a must and Arabic is an added value, enabling effective communication with a diverse range of stakeholders.
