The Infrastructure Deployment Senior Officer is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of IT infrastructure deployment projects. They work closely with the IT team and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of infrastructure solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and organizing infrastructure deployment projects, including developing project plans and timelines
- Coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to procure necessary hardware and software for infrastructure projects
- Managing the implementation and deployment process, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards
- Performing system testing and troubleshooting to ensure successful implementation of infrastructure solutions
- Providing technical support and guidance to the IT team during infrastructure deployment
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of infrastructure deployment processes and procedures
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment of infrastructure solutions with business needs
- Conducting post-implementation reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of infrastructure solutions and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in infrastructure deployment or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies and concepts, including hardware, networking, and operating systems
- Experience in project management, including planning, coordination, and execution
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
