- Process all aspects of payroll, including collecting time sheets, calculating wages and taxes, and issuing paychecks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in the payroll system.
- Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax reports to the appropriate government agencies.
- Train new employees on payroll procedures.
- Act as a liaison between employees and human resources on payroll matters.
- Conduct audits and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of payroll data.
- Stay up to date on changes to payroll laws and regulations.
- May participate in the development and implementation of new payroll processes.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, human resources, or a related field (preferred).Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll.Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.Proficient in payroll software systems.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
