Overview:

A Senior Accountant specializing in Farm and Animal Production, will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our agricultural and animal activities, including cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting. 

Also, will work closely with farm managers and production teams to ensure accurate costing, financial analysis, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Also, will work with suppliers for such account’s confirmations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, experience in agricultural and animal finance.

One time visit per week for all farms as a main KPI of his monthly payroll.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for farm and animal production activities.

Cost and Revenue centres reporting with related analysis. 

Conduct variance analysis and performance reviews to assess the financial performance of individual farms and production units.

Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to optimize production efficiency and profitability.

Payroll analysis and related sheets for proceed salaries.

Vendors / Suppler regular official confirmations.

Follow up with AR team for Customers official confirmation

• Cost Analysis and Management:

Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to accurately track production costs, including feed, labour, veterinary expenses, and equipment depreciation.

Analyze production costs and identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.

Implement cost control measures to ensure efficient resource allocation and maximize profitability.

• Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the development of annual operating budgets and long-term financial plans for farm and animal production activities.

Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to management on variances and deviations from budgeted targets.

Conduct financial forecasting to support decision-making and resource allocation.

• Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to farm accounting, animal welfare, and environmental regulations.

Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure adherence to standards and mitigate compliance risks.

Coordinate with regulatory agencies and auditors as needed to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

• Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory management processes for agricultural inputs and outputs, including feed, livestock, and agricultural products.

Implement inventory control measures to minimize shrinkage, spoilage, and waste.

Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and valuation assessments.

• Other duties: - 
• It’s a mandatory requirement in his contract to agree for 2 times visit per month for all El.Teriak  farms to be completed with financial analysis reports. 
• A KPI as a part of his salary will be paid when all visits done with an accurate financial reporting.
