Role Description The Production Engineer (Furniture Experience) will oversee and optimize production processes for furniture manufacturing at C. Reality Design’s on-site facility in Giza. This full-time role includes planning and coordinating production schedules, ensuring efficient use of materials and resources, and implementing best practices to meet design specifications and delivery timelines. The Production Engineer will monitor product quality, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and collaborate closely with design, procurement, and workshop teams to maintain consistent standards. The role also involves documenting production procedures, maintaining safety and compliance, and suggesting improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Responsibilities
- Monitor production processes and ensure that products are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, and production requirements. - Analyze production processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and material utilization. - Provide technical support to production teams and troubleshoot manufacturing problems. - Identify root causes of production and quality issues and implement corrective actions. - Review product designs and technical drawings to ensure manufacturability and support new product development. - Coordinate with Quality, Supply Chain, Technical departments to resolve production-related issues. - Support the implementation of standard work methods, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Monitor and report key production performance indicators and improvement results. - Ensure manufacturing processes are carried out in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Applied Arts, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing, preferably in the furniture industry. - Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality principles. - Good problem-solving and analytical skills. - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement is an advantage. - Good knowledge of Odoo ERP systems is preferred.
