Role Description The Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, Egypt. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across Jo Steel’s social media channels to build brand awareness and support business objectives. Daily tasks include managing social media calendars, coordinating with internal teams for content inputs, monitoring platform performance, and optimizing posts based on analytics. The Social Media Manager will respond to comments and messages, maintain consistent brand voice, and support campaigns aligned with marketing and corporate communication goals. The role also involves staying current with industry trends and social media best practices to enhance Jo Steel’s digital presence.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) for corporate or industrial brands. Strong Communication and Writing skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences and platforms. Experience in Content Strategy, including planning, scheduling, and aligning content with marketing and business goals. Familiarity with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to improve performance. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work on-site in Alexandria, Egypt, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Industry experience in manufacturing, industrial services, or B2B marketing is an advantage. Proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken, is preferred.
