Job Details

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Review shop drawings and compare them with the design drawings.

  2. Prepare the required quantity take-offs for materials and equipment.

  3. Review work requirements for equipment and materials and prepare the necessary purchase requests.

  4. Assist the Construction Manager in developing the procurement plan according to the project schedule.

  5. Assist the Construction Manager in preparing the manpower and equipment requirements plan.

  6. Receive materials delivered to the project in accordance with the project specifications and submit them to the consultant for approval.

  7. Monitor and supervise the execution of mechanical works within the approved budget and according to the required quality standards.

  8. Hand over completed mechanical works to the consultant engineer upon completion.

Requirements

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

  2. 2-4 years of experience in mechanical construction projects, including plumbing, drainage, and utility networks.

  3. Strong knowledge of shop drawings, technical specifications, and construction standards.

  4. Experience in quantity surveying, material take-offs, and cost control.

  5. Familiarity with procurement processes and material submittals.

  6. Ability to supervise site activities and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams.

  7. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.

  8. Knowledge of project planning and scheduling tools is an advantage.

  9. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  10. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
