Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database environments. Design and manage databases, schemas, stored procedures, and database objects. Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities. Monitor and tune database performance. Perform large-scale database upgrades and migrations across different operating systems. Manage and monitor databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). Perform Oracle patching, upgrades, backup, and restoration. Troubleshoot database and OS-level issues. Develop Shell scripts to automate daily DBA activities. Required Technical Skills Experience: 8–12 years of hands-on Production Oracle DBA experience Strong experience with Oracle 12c & 19c. Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN. Advanced SQL/PL/SQL tuning using AWR, ASH, and ADDM. Strong expertise in SQL tuning, execution plans, and troubleshooting slow queries. Experience with database monitoring tools and documenting DBA policies and procedures. Experience with database migrations between different operating systems. Knowledge of Oracle database security parameters. Experience with Golden Gate installation, monitoring, and performance tuning. Experience with Exadata management. Knowledge of OCI Exa CS, DBaa S, and related Oracle cloud technologies. Knowledge of Database Vault, Audit Vault, Database Firewall, and Encryption Wallets. Experience with Solaris is required. Strong UNIX/Linux troubleshooting and Shell scripting skills. Nice to Have Knowledge of ZDLRA. Experience with Super Cluster management. Oracle certification. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
