We are hiring an Electrical Design Engineer (Substation primary and OHTL engineer) for a leading firm in the field of energy and power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare primary design drawings including SLDs, layouts, and equipment specifications.
• Design overhead transmission lines including route selection, profile drawings, and tower spotting.
• Perform sag-tension calculations and select suitable conductors and earth wires.
• Conduct electrical studies such as load flow, short circuit, and voltage drop analysis.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and protection teams for integrated design.
• Review vendor drawings, tower designs, and technical submittments.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, and local standards.
• Support procurement by preparing BOQs and technical specifications.
• Provide technical support during construction and erection of towers and substations.
• Conduct site surveys and inspections for transmission line routes.
• Assist in stringing, testing, and commissioning of OHTL and substation equipment.
• Prepare technical reports, design calculations, and progress documentation.
• Participate in client meetings and technical discussions.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Power Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Substation primary and OHTL.
• Excellent command of English.
• Ability to work under pressure and travel to project sites.
