Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Steel Detailing Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality steel detailing drawings using Tekla Structures, ensuring compliance with project specifications, fabrication requirements, and applicable industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review General Arrangement (GA), Assembly, and Single Part drawings.* Develop accurate Tekla models for structural steel projects.* Generate NC files, material reports, and fabrication deliverables.* Review design drawings and identify detailing conflicts before fabrication.* Coordinate with structural designers, project engineers, and fabrication teams.* Ensure all detailing complies with AISC and project specifications.* Deliver projects within schedule while maintaining high quality standards.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.* 5–7 years of experience in structural steel detailing.* Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures is mandatory.* Good knowledge of Auto CAD.* Strong understanding of steel fabrication, erection, and detailing practices.* Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and calculations.* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.* Experience with industrial, commercial, or PEB steel projects is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with complex steel connections and miscellaneous steel detailing.* Familiarity with fabrication workflows and shop practices.* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
