Job description

Preparation and review of architectural shop drawings and execution details.

Review of architectural drawings, design specifications, and quantity schedules to identify any conflicts or technical errors.

Coordination between architectural works and other disciplines, especially MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).

Preparation and review of As-Built drawings according to actual site execution.

Preparation and review of Material Submittals, Method Statements, and RFIs related to architectural works.

Review and approval of drawings and technical documents submitted by contractors and suppliers.

Ensuring compliance of execution drawings and technical documents with specifications, codes, and approved designs.

Providing technical support to the site team and resolving technical issues and conflicts during execution.

Attending technical meetings and coordinating with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Reviewing details and quantities related to architectural works and ensuring their compliance with project requirements.

Monitoring the cycle of technical documents from preparation to review, approval, and re-issuance.

Identifying technical conflicts and proposing suitable and feasible solutions.

Adhering to Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures for technical works.

Organizing and maintaining all drawings, documents, and technical correspondence and their various versions.

Supporting the technical office manager / architectural department manager in preparing and monitoring the plan for technical deliveries.

Ensuring the execution and delivery of technical tasks within specified deadlines and according to the project timeline.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering.
  • Experience of 8 to 12 years in architectural technical office.
  • Strong experience in preparing and reviewing Shop Drawings, Construction Details, and As-Built Drawings.
  • Good experience in execution works and construction methods and materials, and architectural finishes.
  • Experience in coordinating between different disciplines, especially Architectural / Structural / MEP.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD, and preferably proficiency in Revit.
  • Good knowledge of codes, technical specifications, and execution standards.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and execution details.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
