Operate and monitor the ammonia cooling system, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and pumps. Monitor and record temperatures, pressures, and ammonia levels, and ensure the required cooling levels are achieved. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and detect and address faults in the cooling system. Monitor cooling and storage rooms, filling stations, and ensure the efficiency of Defrost systems and control of temperature and humidity. Inspect and detect any ammonia leaks and handle them according to established emergency and safety procedures. Comply with occupational safety and health procedures, record operating readings and maintenance work, and prepare reports on faults.
