Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Italian & English Interpreter. The interpreter will facilitate real-time communication between Italian and English speakers in virtual meetings, calls, training sessions, and customer interactions. Daily responsibilities include performing accurate consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation, ensuring meaning and tone are preserved, and adapting language to cultural and contextual nuances. The role also involves preparing for assignments by reviewing terminology and reference materials, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with other language professionals and project coordinators. The interpreter may support written communication when needed, such as clarifying translated content or assisting with language-related queries. Qualifications Strong interpretation and translation skills between Italian and English, with the ability to convey meaning clearly and accurately. Excellent communication and customer service skills to support diverse clients and stakeholders in a remote environment. Native or near-native proficiency in Italian and English, with strong listening and speaking abilities in both languages. Previous experience as an interpreter, translator, language instructor, or in a similar language services role is preferred. Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and stable internet connection for online meetings and calls. High level of professionalism, cultural sensitivity, discretion, and adherence to ethical standards in handling all communications.
