• Obtain quotations from suppliers and evaluate them, including prices, terms, and conditions, to ensure compliance with the company's purchasing policies and procurement requirements. • Negotiate with suppliers regarding prices, commercial terms, delivery schedules, and service terms, aiming to obtain the best value possible while maintaining quality standards. • Prepare and issue purchase orders and track their status to ensure timely execution, proactively addressing any purchasing issues. • Follow up on the delivery of purchase orders with suppliers to ensure receipt of materials within the required lead time. • Review supplier statements and verify their alignment with the received purchase orders, then submit approved documents to the finance department to complete payment procedures. • Negotiate with suppliers regarding payment plans and commercial terms to improve cash flow while maintaining strong, sustainable supplier relationships. • Review supplier contracts and coordinate with the legal department to ensure contractual compliance and mitigate business risks. • Monitor accounts payable activities and coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payment to suppliers and maintain positive relationships with them. • Collect and verify all cost documents for received materials, calculate accruals for open purchase orders and outstanding costs, then provide the required data to the finance department to ensure accuracy of financial reporting. • Prepare and analyze procurement reports, including weekly reports on purchase order status, and compare actual supply periods with targets, to monitor purchasing performance and support continuous improvement efforts.
