Role Description The Legal Advisor will provide expert legal guidance across WAJJAD’s governance, financial, and real estate technology platforms, with a particular focus on Saudi law and regulatory frameworks. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing, drafting, and validating legal documents, contracts, and policies; assessing legal risks; and advising internal teams on compliance and dispute-prevention strategies. The role requires close collaboration with product, operations, and leadership teams to ensure that platform features, workflows, and client solutions align with applicable laws and best practices. The Legal Advisor will also monitor regulatory changes, support the design of governance frameworks, and contribute to internal knowledge resources. This is a full-time remote role that requires fluency in Saudi dialect Arabic and strong written and spoken communication abilities in a professional legal context.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Law, with proven ability to interpret and apply Saudi legal and regulatory frameworks. Experience in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and structuring contracts, policies, and formal legal correspondence. Ability to analyze and resolve Legal Issues, including risk assessment, compliance evaluation, and dispute-prevention strategies. Demonstrated expertise in providing clear, practical Legal Advice to cross-functional teams and non-legal stakeholders. Specialized knowledge of Labor and Employment Law within Saudi Arabia, including relevant regulations and best practices. Fluency and accuracy in Saudi dialect Arabic, with strong legal drafting and communication skills; proficiency in English is an advantage. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized institution; bar admission or equivalent professional legal certification is preferred. Experience working with technology companies, startups, or B2B platforms, particularly in governance, financial, or real estate-related sectors. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
