Purpose of the Job:
The Electrical Works Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical works activities on site to ensure works are carried out safely, on the defined schedule, and in compliance with the project specifications, quality standards, and approved drawings. The role includes managing workforce productivity, tracking progress, solving site issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage daily electrical works including: electrical installations (cables, conduits, distribution boards), lighting systems, low and medium voltage systems, and backup power systems.
Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, Method Statements, and QA/QC requirements.
Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and foremen to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion.
Monitor labor distribution, equipment usage, and material availability to ensure site operation efficiency.
Conduct regular site inspections to follow progress, verify quality, and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
Resolve field problems and technical challenges and any conflicts that may arise between electrical and civil or mechanical works to avoid delays in execution.
Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and implement safety procedures for all workers on site.
Prepare and submit daily progress reports to site management.
Contribute to planning site activities, sequencing works, and identifying risks or potential delays.
Review and monitor quantities of works performed for invoicing and material requests and project documentation.
Monitor testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems before handover.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred).
At least 3 years of experience supervising electrical construction works.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and site execution standards.
Familiarity with reading engineering drawings and electrical schematics, and material and equipment specifications.
Leadership and good communication skills, with problem-solving ability.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks on site.
Good understanding of safety systems and quality control procedures.
