Job description

Charge each personnel with the appropriate model and size uniform and spare uniform.
Fill out a liability card and assign a number, stitch the number on the uniform, and store the uniforms.
Collect dirty uniforms and towels from the personnel and replace them with clean ones.
Practice caution when using the machines and tools and ensure their maintenance.
Wear a uniform, pay attention to personal hygiene and proper appearance.
Control the uniforms sent from the laundry, sew and mend as needed.
Separate any uniforms that can no longer be used.
Record the names of any personnel that intentionally damage or lose his or her uniform and report the incident to the supervisor.
Keep the uniform room tidy.
Sew pillow covers, etc., as requested by the management.
Sew and mend items as requested by guests.
Sew and mend hotel textiles and report any missing materials to the supervisor.
Predict that all activities and purchased equipment and belongings may create disease for the environment.
Join all activities organized to protect biological diversity and share the responsibilities.
Share individual responsibilities to increase environmental knowledge and carry out necessary trainings.
Provide minimum consumption of currently used items and equipment (paper, printed materials, etc.).
Implement necessary warnings and departmental trainings to save energy inside the facility.
Carry on implementing decisions taken for saving energy.
Predict effects of environment and energy efficiency on purchased equipment.
Implement responsibilities to eliminate and collect waste properly, reduce environmental pollution, and minimize harmful effects on the environment.
Carry out all responsibilities related to the quality management systems implemented at the facilities.
Carry out all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.

Qualifications

• Education: At least a primary school or vocational diploma.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the related field.
• Foreign language: Not expected.
• Courses and training: Prior attendance in courses and seminars in the related field.
• Computer literacy: Not expected.
• Skills: Expected to use complex tools and devices related to the job. Expected to have sufficient knowledge and experience concerning the methods, techniques, and work processes in the related field. Expected to perform jobs that require experience in the field, concern more than one unit or process, and are similar in nature. Is reliable, aware of personal hygiene, in good health to perform the job, can express himself or herself well and communicate easily, is presentable, eager to learn and work in this area, has a sense of responsibility, is disciplined, respectful, and friendly.
