We are hiring "Installation Engineer (Furniture)"
Job Summary:The Installation Engineer is responsible for supervising and managing the installation of furniture at client sites, including hotels, commercial buildings, offices, hospitals, and residential projects. The role ensures that all installation activities are completed safely, on time, according to project specifications, and in compliance with quality standards while coordinating effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:-Supervise and manage furniture installation activities at project sites.-Review shop drawings, installation drawings, BOQs, and project specifications before installation.-Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution.-Prepare installation schedules and monitor progress against project timelines.-Ensure all furniture is installed according to approved drawings and quality standards.-Inspect delivered materials and verify quantities and specifications before installation.-Resolve on-site technical issues and coordinate with production and engineering teams for required modifications.-Monitor installation teams and subcontractors to ensure productivity and workmanship.-Ensure compliance with health, safety, and site regulations.-Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports.-Conduct snag list inspections and ensure all comments are closed before project handover.-Attend site meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients.-Coordinate material requests and logistics with warehouse and transportation teams.-Ensure proper protection of installed furniture until final handover.-Participate in project handover and obtain client acceptance.-Report delays, risks, and technical challenges with recommended corrective actions.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.- 3–5 years of experience in furniture installation, fit-out, or interior finishing projects.- Experience in hotel, hospitality, commercial, office, or large-scale projects is highly preferred.- Ability to read technical drawings and shop drawings.- Good knowledge of furniture manufacturing and installation techniques.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Auto CAD.- Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.
