Role Description The English Second Language Instructor role at SYE English Community is a full-time, on-site position based in Giza. The instructor will plan and deliver interactive English lessons, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills for learners at different levels. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and materials, assessing learners’ progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods to diverse learning styles. The role also involves contributing to curriculum enhancement, collaborating with other instructors, and participating in workshops or community activities to support the overall development program.

Qualifications Strong instructional skills in English Teaching, Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), and general Teaching. Experience or training in Curriculum Development, including designing lesson plans and learning activities. Knowledge of Linguistics to support clear explanation of grammar, pronunciation, and language structure. Excellent command of spoken and written English, with the ability to model accurate and natural language use. Relevant certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) and/or a degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field. Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centered approach. Ability to work on-site in Giza, maintain a consistent full-time schedule, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
