Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient delivery of construction and decoration projects. The COO will lead operational planning, supervise project execution, and optimize internal processes to meet quality, safety, and timeline standards. This role includes coordinating with project managers, site teams, and senior leadership to align operational performance with strategic business goals. The COO will monitor budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships, while implementing performance metrics and operational improvements. The position also involves mentoring staff, supporting business development efforts, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies. Qualifications Strong Business Planning skills, including setting operational goals and contributing to strategic growth initiatives. Proven Operations Management experience in construction, contracting, or related fields, with a focus on process optimization and project delivery. Robust Analytical Skills for evaluating performance metrics, operational risks, and project outcomes. Solid understanding of Finance and Budgeting, including cost control, forecasting, and resource allocation. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage. Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards in Egypt is preferred. Demonstrated capability to work on-site and closely with field teams in a fast-paced environment.
