Are you a seasoned testing professional with a passion for quality and precision? We are seeking a Senior Software Testing Engineer to lead our quality assurance efforts in Cairo. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing complex test strategies, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

As a Senior Software Testing Engineer, you will take ownership of the testing lifecycle for critical projects. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to define test plans, automate testing processes, and identify defects early. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement in our testing frameworks and methodologies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
• Leading test automation efforts using modern tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
• Performing performance, load, and stress testing to ensure system scalability.
• Reviewing and analyzing system requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to ensure testability.
• Mentoring and coaching junior and mid-level QA engineers.
• Reporting and tracking defects, as well as verifying fixes and conducting regression testing.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to a culture of quality.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in test automation (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured), programming languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript), and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
• Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git).
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to document and communicate issues clearly.
• Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Language: Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal).
