Key Responsibilities Technical Responsibilities Lead the geometric design of highways, urban roads, and local streets. Prepare road alignments, profiles, cross-sections, grading, and pavement layouts. Develop roadway design drawings and construction documents. Perform corridor modeling using Civil 3D or similar software. Coordinate horizontal and vertical alignments with utilities and drainage systems. Review and optimize road design for constructability, safety, and cost efficiency. Ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable design standards. Participate in feasibility studies, concept design, preliminary design, and detailed design stages. Prepare design calculations, technical reports, BOQs, and engineering documentation. Conduct design reviews and quality control checks before submission. Project Coordination Coordinate with Civil, Utilities, Structures, Traffic, Landscape, and BIM teams. Attend client meetings and technical coordination meetings. Support proposal preparation and technical presentations. Resolve design issues during project execution. Monitor project progress against schedules and milestones. Leadership Responsibilities Supervise and mentor junior and design engineers. Review drawings and calculations prepared by team members. Allocate tasks and monitor team productivity. Ensure adherence to company QA/QC procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Professional registration is an advantage. Master's Degree is a plus. Experience8–10 years of experience in road design engineering. Minimum 5 years in engineering consultancy. Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects. GCC project experience is an advantage.
