Senior Structure Design Engineer (ST-26-01) Location: Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt GSC Engineering & Geo Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for structural design, analysis, assessment, investigation, and rehabilitation of buildings and infrastructure projects across the GCC region, working closely with architectural, MEP, geotechnical, and geophysical teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structure), M. Sc. & Ph. D. are preferred. Over 12 years of experience, preferably with leading engineering consultancy firms. Proven experience in structural design, assessment, and rehabilitation of existing buildings. Strong experience delivering projects across GCC countries. Excellent communication, technical reporting, and client coordination skills. Requirements Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, Auto CAD, and Revit Structure is mandatory. Experience with BIM workflows; knowledge of Navisworks is an advantage. Strong experience in the design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and foundation systems. Experience in structural analysis and design for residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, and infrastructure projects. Proven experience in structural assessment of existing buildings, including condition assessment, structural investigations, and defect diagnosis. Experience preparing structural rehabilitation, retrofit, and strengthening solutions for existing structures. Strong knowledge of ACI 318, AISC, ASCE 7, Eurocode, SBC, IBC, and relevant international design standards. Experience preparing structure calculations, design reports, assessment reports, technical specifications, and engineering recommendations. Experience coordinating with Architectural, MEP, Geotechnical, and Geophysical disciplines throughout project development. Familiarity with GCC authority requirements and engineering consultancy practices is highly preferred. Experience in value engineering, peer review, and independent design verification is an advantage. Ability to lead senior & junior engineers, manage multiple projects, and deliver high-quality work within project deadlines.
