Job Purpose
The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and machining components using CNC machines in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and production schedules.
The position supports manufacturing, repair, rethreading, and refurbishment activities for OCTG accessories and oilfield equipment.
This position is site-based and requires working on a rotational schedule at the company's operational sites. It is not an office-based position.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation
Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently.
Set up machines, tooling, and fixtures.
Load and verify machining programs.
Monitor machining operations and machine performance.
Production Activities
Manufacture components according to drawings and specifications.
Perform machining operations with required tolerances.
Ensure proper thread machining when applicable.
Meet production schedules and targets.
Quality Control
Perform dimensional checks using measuring instruments.
Verify compliance with drawings and work instructions.
Report non-conforming products immediately.
Maintain product traceability when required.
Machine Care
Perform daily machine inspections.
Maintain machine cleanliness and housekeeping.
Report machine malfunctions to Maintenance Department.
Assist in preventive maintenance activities.
