Job Title: Data Analyst (SAP/Odoo Specialist) Location: [Maadi] (Hybrid ) Employment Type: Full-Time Department: IT / Business Intelligence Key Responsibilities Data Extraction & Integration Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from SAP (ECC/S/4HANA) and Odoo databases (Postgre SQL/MySQL). Build and maintain data pipelines to consolidate ERP data with external CRM and e-commerce platforms. Write complex SQL queries to pull transactional data (sales orders, purchase orders, inventory, and financial postings). Analysis & Reporting Develop interactive dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or Odoo Studio) to track KPIs such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment rates, and gross margin. Perform root-cause analysis on data discrepancies between SAP and Odoo modules (e.g., Finance vs. Logistics). Provide actionable insights to improve business processes, reduce costs, and optimize supply chain efficiency. System Collaboration Partner with Functional Consultants to map business requirements into technical data models. Participate in Odoo migrations or SAP upgrade projects, ensuring data integrity during system transitions. Automate manual reporting processes using Python or Java Script (Odoo Automation). Data Governance Maintain data quality standards by cleansing master data (Customers, Vendors, Materials) across both systems. Document data dictionaries and transformation logic for audit and training purposes. Qualifications Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Finance, or a related field. Experience:2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or ERP Data Specialist. Must have hands-on experience with at least one of the following:SAP: Strong knowledge of tables (MARA, VBAK, LIKP, BSEG), debugging, and SAP Query. Odoo: Deep understanding of Odoo’s ORM, Postgre SQL database structure, and reporting engines. Technical Skills:SQL: Expert level (joins, subqueries, window functions). BI Tools: Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Programming: Python (Pandas, Num Py) or R for advanced analytics. ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with Odoo’s Accounting, Sales, Purchase, and Inventory modules OR SAP FI/CO, MM, and SD modules. Data Warehousing: Experience with DWH concepts and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend). Soft Skills:Strong business acumen; ability to translate data findings into plain English for operational managers. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting while maintaining clear communication across time zones. Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience with Odoo Studio or SAP Fiori reporting. Knowledge of REST APIs for extracting data from third-party apps. Certified in Odoo Functional or SAP Activate methodology. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
