Role Description The MEP Mechanical Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria. The supervisor oversees daily mechanical works for MEP systems, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring installation, operation, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. Responsibilities include supervising technical teams, assigning tasks, reviewing work progress, conducting inspections of mechanical systems, and reporting on site performance and issues. The role also involves implementing preventive and corrective maintenance plans, resolving technical problems, coordinating with other disciplines and subcontractors, and supporting documentation, handover, and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task coordination, and performance monitoring. Candidates should possess experience in Maintenance Management, covering planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for mechanical systems. Candidates should possess solid capabilities in Preventive Maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Maintenance and repair of mechanical and MEP equipment on construction or facility sites. Candidates should possess proficiency in Inspection of mechanical installations and systems, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with codes and standards. Relevant engineering or technical diploma/degree in Mechanical or MEP-related field is preferred. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and other MEP mechanical systems in building or infrastructure projects is beneficial. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and maintenance manuals is advantageous. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety are expected. Previous experience in a supervisory mechanical or MEP role within contracting or construction companies is highly beneficial.
