Job Title: Interior Designer Department: Design Reports To: Senior Designer / Design Director Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary The Interior Designer will support the design team in all phases of the design process, from initial research and concept development to project installation. This role requires strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail, assisting senior staff in executing high-quality design projects. Key Responsibilities Design Support: Assist in the development of design concepts, mood boards, and material selections under the direction of senior designers. Drafting: Produce accurate floor plans, elevations, and detailed construction drawings using Auto CAD and Sketch Up. FF&E Management: Assist with furniture and material sourcing; maintain the design library and manage sample inventory. Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors and showrooms to obtain quotes and schedule deliveries. Site Visits: Participate in site visits to measure spaces, assess conditions, and oversee installations. Administrative Support: Manage project files, create presentations, and maintain project schedules. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field. Experience: 1-4 years of experience in an interior design firm (internships count). Software: Proficiency in Auto CAD, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign). Knowledge of Revit is a plus. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with design principles, space planning, and materials. Soft Skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with a willingness to learn. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
