About the Role
We are looking for a Project Manager to lead complex Engineering & Procurement (EP) projects in heavy industrial environments. This includes industrial plants, processing facilities, mines, steel structures, concrete structures, conveyors, machinery and large equipment.
This is a leadership role. You will own full project delivery: engineering, procurement, budget, planning, coordination, and client satisfaction.
You will act as the single point of contact between our clients, our in-house engineering/design teams, external consultants, OEMs/suppliers, and site stakeholders. You are accountable for execution, control, risk management, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full lifecycle delivery of Engineering & Procurement (EP) projects in heavy industry (plants, mining, steel/concrete structures, conveyors, machinery and equipment). Manage multidisciplinary teams: in-house designers/engineers, external consultants, and subcontractors. Own the project schedule using MS Project: planning, milestones, critical path, progress tracking. Drive project budgets, cost control, cash flow, and reporting to senior leadership. Oversee technical design reviews and ensure engineering packages are aligned with client specs, standards, and safety. Coordinate procurement of machinery, equipment, conveyors and plant systems (RFQs, vendor selection, techno-commercial evaluation). Conduct and lead client meetings, project reviews, progress updates, and commercial discussions. Maintain strong customer relationships. Mitigate risk: identify variations, delays, scope changes, and claim opportunities early. Ensure compliance with QA/QC, HSE, and applicable industrial standards. Manage documentation, deliverables, submittals, and approvals. Support on-site activities, mobilization, installation planning, commissioning interface (in coordination with site/construction teams).

Industrial plants / mining / process plants / heavy equipment installations Steel structures, concrete foundations, mechanical layouts Material handling systems (conveyors, feeders, crushers, etc.) Large rotating / static equipment Integration of mechanical, civil/structural, electrical, and controls disciplines
Tools & Platforms
MS Project (planning / scheduling / reporting) BIM3D scanning / point cloud workflows Autodesk Inventor (or equivalent 3D design for machinery / layouts) Familiarity with digital coordination, model reviews, clash detection, etc.
Ideal Profile
10–12 years of experience in project management in heavy industry or industrial plants (EPC / EP / OEM / systems integrator / mining / large machinery). Proven track record delivering complex engineering + procurement scopes under budget and within schedule. Strong commercial awareness: cost control, contracts, variations, claims, invoicing. Excellent people leadership: able to coordinate designers, consultants, suppliers, and client stakeholders. Strong client-facing presence and negotiation skills. Comfortable directly reporting to executive management and presenting project status at that level.
Education & Certifications
Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Civil/Structural, or similar) required. PMP certification strongly preferred. MBA is an advantage (commercial/financial understanding is important in this role).

Able to challenge designs and suppliers when needed. Can manage both detail (technical) and big picture (strategy / commercial).
