The Opportunity: We are seeking an Area Service Sales Manager to drive service growth and profitability within a defined geographical region for HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGY S.A.E. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle for our service offerings, building strong customer relationships, and leading a team to achieve sales targets.
How will you make an impact:
- You will develop and execute a comprehensive service sales strategy for the assigned area, aligning with company goals and market dynamics.
- You will identify and pursue new service sales opportunities with existing and prospective customers, including maintenance contracts, upgrades, spare parts, and digital solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and positioning HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGY S.A.E. as a trusted service partner.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of service sales professionals, ensuring they meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, conduct negotiations, and close service contracts effectively.
- Collaborate closely with the service operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and ethical standards in all sales activities.
- Participate in relevant industry events, trade shows and customer meetings to promote HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGY S.A.E.'s service offerings.
Desired Candidate Profile
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or similar), Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a service sales management role within the power generation, transmission, or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of power technology products, systems, and service solutions.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned geographical area.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
