Role Description The Retail Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Heliopolis, responsible for developing the skills and product knowledge of in-store beauty advisors and sales teams. This role designs and delivers training sessions on product features, application techniques, customer experience standards, and sales best practices. The Retail Trainer conducts regular in-store coaching, observes customer interactions, and provides feedback to improve service quality and conversion rates. They create training materials such as manuals, presentations, and quick-reference guides, and coordinate with store managers to plan onboarding and ongoing training calendars. The role also includes tracking training effectiveness through assessments and performance metrics, staying up to date on new brands and launches, and collaborating with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure consistent messaging on promotions and brand standards. Qualifications Strong training and facilitation skills, with the ability to conduct engaging in-person sessions, workshops, and on-the-job coaching. Solid retail and customer service skills, including experience in beauty, cosmetics, or fragrance sales, and a strong focus on delivering exceptional in-store experiences. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences and learning styles. Organizational and planning abilities, including managing training calendars, preparing materials, and tracking attendance and performance. Knowledge of makeup, skincare, and fragrance categories, with a passion for beauty trends and professional application techniques. Comfort with basic digital tools (e.g., presentation software, spreadsheets, email, and learning materials) to create and share training content. Ability to work on-site full time in Heliopolis, with flexibility to visit other stores as needed. Previous experience as a retail trainer, beauty advisor, makeup artist, or store supervisor is preferred. Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field is an advantage.
