Job Purpose The Business Performance Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing organizational performance across all business functions. The role serves as a strategic partner by transforming data into actionable insights, identifying performance gaps, highlighting business risks, and recommending improvement opportunities. The position will leverage advanced analytics, business intelligence tools, AI technologies, and performance management methodologies to provide fact-based recommendations that support organizational effectiveness, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Business Performance Monitoring & Analysis Monitor and evaluate organizational performance across all departments and business units. Develop and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports. Analyze business KPIs, operational metrics, financial indicators, and workforce data. Identify performance trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Provide proactive recommendations to improve business performance and operational efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis for underperforming functions and processes. Highlight critical business risks and red flags to senior management.
Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Design and maintain interactive dashboards using business intelligence and visualization tools. Analyze large datasets and convert complex information into meaningful business insights. Develop predictive and trend analyses to support business planning and forecasting. Establish data-driven reporting standards across departments. Automate reporting processes and improve data accuracy and accessibility. Perform advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis to support strategic initiatives.
AI & Digital Transformation Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and automation technologies across business functions. Evaluate and recommend AI-driven solutions to improve productivity and decision-making. Support the implementation of AI-powered analytics and reporting tools. Stay updated on emerging AI technologies, business intelligence platforms, and automation trends. Train and support business stakeholders in utilizing AI and digital tools effectively. Develop use cases and business cases for AI adoption across the organization.
Strategic Projects & Performance Improvement Support cross-functional strategic initiatives and transformation projects. Participate in organizational performance improvement programs. Lead special analytical projects assigned by executive management. Develop performance improvement action plans based on analytical findings. Monitor project performance, milestones, and outcomes. Ensure alignment between departmental objectives and overall business strategy.
Executive Reporting & Decision Support Prepare executive-level presentations and performance reviews. Present business insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Develop management reports highlighting key performance indicators, risks, and opportunities. Support leadership meetings through analytical insights and scenario modeling. Translate data findings into practical business recommendations.
Stakeholder Management Collaborate with department heads to understand business challenges and performance drivers. Act as a trusted advisor for data-driven decision-making. Facilitate communication between departments to improve performance visibility. Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven management.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, AI, Project Management, or Process Improvement are highly preferred.
Experience3–7 years of experience in Business Analytics, Business Performance, Strategy, Management Consulting, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related fields. Experience within manufacturing, industrial, FMCG, consulting, or large corporate environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience building dashboards, analyzing KPIs, and supporting executive decision-making. Practical exposure to AI tools and advanced analytics techniques is strongly preferred
