Job Summary:
We are seeking a smart, active, and organized IT professional with a strong passion for technical support and network management.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing end-user support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure, including Linux environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and printer issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues (connectivity, performance, etc.).
- Provide step-by-step solutions or escalate issues when necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Install, configure, and administer Linux operating systems.
- Support operating systems including Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access rights.
- Perform scheduled system maintenance and upgrades.
- Track and manage hardware and software inventory.
- Document troubleshooting processes and resolutions.
- Communicate effectively with users and internal IT teams regarding issue status.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
- Hands-on experience with Linux OS installation and administration.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux distributions (e.g., RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian).
- Familiarity with remote support tools.
- Experience with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Knowledge of network devices (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Experience in helpdesk or network support roles.
- ITI graduates are preferred, especially from tracks such as Cyber Security, Cloud and Infrastructure Services, and Information Systems.
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, Linux certifications) are preferred.
