Civil Engineering Lead

Education Requirements and Acceptable Alternatives

·       Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering – Mandatory

·       Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering – Preferred

·       Strong experience in design review and site supervision within PMC/Consultant roles

·       Extensive relevant experience may substitute postgraduate studies

Required Courses / Certifications

·       PMP – Preferred

·       Professional Engineer License (PE) – Advantage

·       QA/QC Certification – Preferred

·       Familiarity with international codes and standards

Requirements

Other Important Requirements / Remarks

• Preferably worked with reputable PMC/Consultants (e.g., AECOM, Parsons, Dar)

• Strong experience in design review, technical governance, and contractor oversight

• Experience in large-scale / mega projects is required

• Ability to represent the client in technical discussions and decisions

• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills

Required Experience – Civil Engineering Lead (PMC Level)

12–15+ years of experience

Typical Career Progression:

• 0–5 years: Civil Engineer

• 5–10 years: Senior Civil Engineer

• 10–15+ years: Civil Lead / Senior Engineer (with PMC exposure)

Below Requirement:

• Less than 10 years: Not suitable for this position

• No PMC / design review experience: not preferred for this position
